SunnyKids is a Sunshine Coast-based not-for-profit dedicated to supporting children and families experiencing domestic and family violence, homelessness, hardship, and disadvantage. For more than 26 years, they have provided life-changing and life-saving support services that help families navigate crisis, build resilience, and create safer futures.
Guided by their belief that it takes a village to raise a child, SunnyKids delivers an integrated network of support services, including crisis intervention, emergency accommodation, family support, education, advocacy, and programs that empower families to achieve long-term positive outcomes. They work collaboratively with community, health, education, and child protection partners to ensure vulnerable children and families receive the wrap-around support they need.
Through our evidence-based Virtual Village model, we focus on strengthening families by fostering self-agency, accountability, connection, and sustainable capacity building. Every year, SunnyKids supports thousands of children and families, helping them move from crisis to safety, stability, and hope.
