Dippin’ Dots are a unique type of ice cream made up of tiny, bead-like spheres.
Here’s what makes them special:
Flash-frozen process: Instead of being churned and slowly frozen like regular ice cream, Dippin’ Dots are made by dripping ice cream mixture into extremely cold liquid nitrogen (around −196°C). This instantly freezes the droplets into small, round dots.
Temperature: They’re stored and served much colder than normal ice cream (around −40°C), which helps keep their shape.
Flavours: They come in classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, plus fun mixes like cookies & cream or rainbow ice.
Dippin’ Dots will be one of our food vendors at the 2026 Sunshine Coast Education Fair
