Over approximately 30 minutes, Wildlife Instinct will introduce a selection of fascinating animals, including snakes, lizards, and insects, and share fun facts, unique behaviours, and important safety information. This interactive presentation allows participants to get up close, ask questions, and discover the incredible diversity of wildlife in a safe and controlled environment, making it both entertaining and memorable. |
| 12:30 – 1:00 pm | Funkybooks | Chris will be performing a mini-show on the main stage live narration to the audio-visual book. The audience will meet his puppet friends and sing and dance to one of the book’s songs! |
| 1:15 – 1:45 pm | Rackley Swimming | A fun and informative talk about water safety from an expert learn-to-swim instructor. Plus, kids can meet Trevor the Turtle mascot, enjoy storytime and craft activities. |

With a range of creative stations set up, kids can explore, design, and construct using a variety of LEGO pieces and themed activities. It’s all about imagination, creativity, and having fun while learning through play. |
| Zone 6 | Play Maison | Step into the world of Play Maison — a calming, creative play space designed especially for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. This interactive play area at the Education Fair invites little ones to explore a thoughtfully curated mix of messy play, process art, sensory experiences, soft play and imaginative fun, all tailored for children under 5. From hands-on art and craft stations to engaging sensory activities and gentle soft play, every element is designed to encourage creativity, confidence, movement and connection through play. | Activity Zone 8b | IFYS & Project Paradigm | IFYS/Project Paradigm will showcase practical, evidence-based resources focused on preventing child sexual exploitation and protecting young people. Visitors can explore guides to recognising risk indicators and grooming behaviours, as well as tools for responding to concerns. The team will also highlight training programs and community resources designed to empower parents, educators and frontline workers to help keep children safe. |

Children and families are invited to relax with fun colouring activities and enjoy a selection of engaging books. This welcoming space is designed to spark imagination, encourage a love of reading, and highlight the importance of learning through connection. While you’re there, discover more about The Pyjama Foundation and how they support children in foster care to build confidence, improve literacy, and reach their full potential through one-on-one mentoring. |
| Activity Zone 14 | Family Nurture | Visit the Family Nurture stand to discover why some bright, capable children struggle at school — and what can actually be done about it. Their psychologists will be on hand for one-on-one conversations with parents, offering real clinical insight into conditions like ADHD, anxiety, autism, and learning difficulties. Pick up the interactive “Does this sound like your child?” checklist, work through it with the team, and leave with a genuine understanding of what the signs mean and what your next step looks like. This is not a passive display — it is a free, informal consultation with experienced clinicians. In this 30-minute session, Bianca will deliver a live reading of the book, followed by an interactive online safety quiz and colouring-in activities. Teachers and parents will see how these simple tools spark meaningful conversations about trust, identity, and talking to a trusted adult. Already used in primary schools across Australia, Bob the Blob aligns with the Australian Curriculum (Years 2–4) and provides an engaging, ready-to-use resource for classrooms and home learning. |
| 11:00 – 11:30 am | Stephen Baines – Author | Enjoy a book reading, followed by either a hands-on, interactive activity simulating cleaning a creek and/or a discussion centred around how small a percentage of freshwater we have on this planet. Then we finish up with a fun activity of ‘fish yoga’. |
