Riverside Christian College is a faith-led co-educational school offering both on-campus and distance education to students from Prep to Year 12. The school’s core mission is to provide a “Quality Christian Education,” ensuring that each student’s individual talents, interests, and abilities are nurtured.
Their Distance Education program was established in 1991, making them Queensland’s longest-serving independent provider of distance education and currently one of the largest in the state.
The College has developed its own unique distance education learning program, fully aligned with the Australian Curriculum. This curriculum is delivered through professionally packaged student boxes containing curriculum resources and hands-on materials—such as math manipulatives, science tools, and art supplies—provided each term. Accompanying this is the multi-modal learning resources accessed through the student learning portal.
Riverside Christian College’s team of experienced, passionate educators supports students and families through live online sessions as well as through a range of face-to-face events that encourage connection and community. This blend of remote and in-person learning opportunities creates a flexible, supportive environment that helps students succeed academically and personally.
